NJ JCCs Outsource Fitness

WEST ORANGE, NJ and WHIPPANY, NJ -- JCC MetroWest branch in New Jersey is outsourcing its health and fitness centers and membership functions to the Manhattan-based fitness management company Plus One, according to the New Jersey Jewish News. The outsourcing is intended to make the JCC MetroWest’s fitness centers more competitive with commercial clubs and to improve their bottom line, the newspaper reported.

JCC MetroWest’s two facilities include the Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC, Ross Family Campus, in West Orange, NJ, and the Lautenberg Family JCC of Morris County in Whippany, NJ.

Plus One Health Management, Inc. is a management company for fitness centers, wellness programs, spas and physical therapy clinics. According to the company’s Web site, Plus One’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, luxury properties, financial service firms, real estate developers, law partnerships, publishers, pharmaceutical companies and hospitals. Plus One employs more than 1,800 professionals nationwide.
