Club Operators Must Report Injuries to OSHA

WASHINGTON, DC -- Health-club operators, in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), must post a summary of the number of job-related injuries and illnesses that occurred in 2006.

Operators need to have OSHA Form 300A posted in their clubs until April 30. Clubs with no injuries to record must post the form with zeros on the total line. More information and copies of OSHA Forms 300 and 300A are available at www.osha.gov.
