The Alaska Club in Pending Sale

ANCHORAGE, AK – The Alaska Club, which has 17 clubs in Alaska, is up for sale, according to a report by Anchorage, AK, TV station KTUU.

New York-based equity group Lincolnshire Management is the potential buyer, and the two sides are close to finalizing the deal, according to the report. Officials from Lincolnshire Management and Andrew Eker, the president and part owner of The Alaska Club, did not return phone calls.

Eker also owns the Planet Fitness that opened three months ago in Anchorage. Planet Fitness manager Nic Hurley told KTUU that the club signed up 1,776 members in the first three months.

The TV station also reported that if the deal goes through, Planet Fitness would be part of the sale. Planet Fitness and the Alaska Club will represent Lincolnshire Management’s first venture into the fitness industry.
