Thirty Minutes of Brisk walking at 50 percent of maximum heart rate was recently shown to reduce blood pressure in obese exercisers for at least four hours following the activity. The study was recently presented by researchers at The American College of Sports Medicine's 55th Annual Meeting in Indianapolis.
