Woman Arrested For Burglary at 24 Hour Fitness Stores

SACRAMENTO, CA – A woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly stole vehicles and burglarized lockers at 24 Hour Fitness locations in the Sacramento, CA, area, the Sacramento Bee reported.

Fatima Gaines, 23, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, petty theft and possession of marijuana. She was held without bail in Sacramento County Jail.

Gaines allegedly would enter a 24 Hour Fitness, open unlocked lockers of patrons and steal their personal items and car keys, the newspaper reported. She then allegedly used those keys to steal the patrons’ cars.

Deputies from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department believe there are additional unidentified victims.
