Walk Raises Awareness of Breast Cancer

AVIANO AIR BASE, ITALY -- More than 200 Airmen and family members put their best foot forward to help raise awareness of breast cancer during an Aviano Community Enlisted Spouses Club (ACES)-sponsored walk in late October at the Aviano Air Base in Italy.

The ACES club arranged the walk as a way to encourage Combined Federal Campaign donations to those charities addressing elimination of causes, research, treatment and outreach programs for breast cancer.

"We all come together for camaraderie and just make sure that everyone's doing their job and their part to make sure there's awareness out there for breast cancer," says event walker Rebecca Cobos.
