Sales Growth Leads Paramount Fitness to Expand Facilities

Los Angeles — Growing pains at Paramount Fitness Corp. is causing the manufacturer to expand its manufacturing and warehouse facilities in Los Angeles to more than 200,000 square feet, according to the company. Paramount had a 22 percent annual sales growth in 2007 and a 17 percent sales growth in the first quarter of 2008.

“Our phenomenal sales growth, combined with the release of innovative new products like the 7.85T and 7.55T Treadmills and the PFT-200A Functional Trainer, required expanding our facility to meet future demand,” says Jim McIntyre, vice president of sales and marketing for the company. “We are very pleased with how fitness facilities around the world have responded to our commitment to producing advanced performance products — built around the biomechanics of the human body — that truly make a difference in people's lives. We also appreciate the importance of our customers providing valuable input in the development of these products.”
