Motionsoft Acquires Custom Design Systems

SILVER SPRING, MD -- Motionsoft Inc. entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Custom Design Systems (CDS), a privately held gym software company headquartered in Freehold, NJ. Motionsoft is acquiring CDS’s PowerManagement Software to further expand its footprint in the health, fitness and wellness markets.

As a result, Motionsoft will assume development and support responsibilities for the application suite. The combined company will offer Motionsoft’s eClubLogic suite of applications to PowerManagement users, leveraging Motionsoft’s Microsoft competency with the advantages of .net-development tools.

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but the acquisition is expected to increase the size of Motionsoft’s footprint in the industry to more than 1,600 facilities. In the past, Motionsoft has worked with Equinox Fitness, Western Athletic Clubs, Gold's Gym and Crunch.

“Our priority and intention is to make this a seamless transition for PowerManagement users,” says Al Noshirvani, president and CEO of Motionsoft. “Keeping the CDS support and development staff fully intact and now part of our team here at Motionsoft will help us accomplish this goal.”
