Strive, Steelers Team Up

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the United Way of Allegheny County teamed with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania and Strive to create the Steelers Fitness Zone at the Boys & Girls Club in Millvale, PA. The joint effort was part of the ninth annual NFL/United Way Hometown Huddle, a series of volunteer projects implemented near different NFL cities nationwide.

The Steelers Fitness Zone, a black and gold workout room, is packed with youth-oriented fitness equipment provided by Strive. Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch, the team's United Way spokesman, and the Steelers Rookie Club, which includes all of the team's rookies, took part in the dedication of the room last month and helped teach the kids how to use the new equipment.
