Plus One Takes Over Google's Corporate Sites

New York — Management and staffers at Plus One Health Management Inc. haven't wasted any time getting down to business with one of its newest clients, Google. The company found out in October that it landed the contract to operate Google's seven corporate fitness facilities. By December, Plus One had taken over operation of the four centers at Google's Mountain View, CA, headquarters; one center at YouTube's San Bruno, CA, headquarters; and two smaller Google facilities outside Atlanta.

Additional facilities are in the planning stages to support Google as it continues its aggressive growth strategy, according to a statement from Plus One, which designs, develops and manages corporate and commercial fitness centers, luxury spas and wellness programs.

In addition to transitioning each fitness center, including the assumption of existing employees and redesigning certain elements of specific facilities, Plus One will help launch Google's new fitness brand, G-fit, and elevate the overall corporate fitness program to meet the needs of Google's expanding employee base.

“We feel that this selection validates our unique approach to corporate fitness center management, and we look forward to delivering Plus One-type results for all Googlers nationwide,” says Plus One CEO and Founder Mike Motta.

In other news, Plus One announced that in the first 12 months of operating the JCC MetroWest in West Orange, NJ, membership increased 28 percent to 4,100 memberships, while the average monthly dues rate increased 34 percent. Ancillary revenue per membership was up 72 percent, largely as a result of a re-launched and re-purposed personal training program.
