Pilates Studio Owners Open Club in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY -- The husband-wife team of Michael Feigin and Lawson Harris transformed a printing house into a 3,400-square-foot fitness center with virtual reality training devices, cardio and Pilates equipment, free weights, a recording studio and an exercise video production facility. The club, which is adjacent to Gleason’s Gym in Dumbo, Brooklyn, features a 55-minute cardio and strength circuit and offers such classes as Urban Rebounding, a 60-minute class using a trampoline; a Yo Mama prenatal/postnatal workout; and Sweet Science, a class with footwork drills. Feigin and Harris, cohosts of The Fitness Guru on Sirius Radio, used their radio show listeners’ advice to design their new fitness facility.
