5K Raises More Than $10,000

GRANBURY, TX -- Performance Zone Training and Fitness Center’s third annual fun run, Run for the Hills 5K and 1-mile walk/run, on July 1 raised more than $10,000 for Happy Hill Farm Academy, a school for at-risk children in Granbury, TX. More than 250 runners participated and Rayfield Wright, 2006 NFL Hall of Fame Inductee who played 13 years with the Dallas Cowboys, was the official starter of the race and handed out awards to runners.

“We plan to do the event each year and have our numbers of participants and sponsors grow,” said Mark Roozen, owner and director of the Performance Zone. “This is a great event that goes to a great cause -- helping kids have the chance to grow and become a success.”
