Gold’s Gym to Build Up Corporate Numbers

DALLAS -- In four years, Gold’s Gym International plans to have twice as many clubs as it does today, according to Gold’s CEO Gene LaMott. LaMott made the statement in a June 14 Dallas Morning News article about the company’s growth plans. Gold’s Gym owns just over 500 clubs, but plans to increase that to 1,000 clubs by the end of 2010. LaMott indicated that the company plans to continue with franchising as well.
