24 Hour Fitness Athletes Make U.S. Olympic Team

SAN RAMON, CA — The four members of Team 24 Hour Fitness are competing this month in the 2006 Winter Olympics. 24 Hour Fitness, which is the official fitness center sponsor of the 2006 U.S. Olympic Team, has a partnership with the four athletes — Snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler, Free Style Skier Jeremy Bloom, Downhill Skier Daron Rahlves and Speed Skater Jennifer Rodriguez. As part of the relationship, this group of athletes — called Team 24 Hour Fitness — lent their support, voices and images to the company's advertising, publications, marketing and promotional materials, as well as made personal appearances. In turn, 24 Hour Fitness created workout facilities in Torino, Italy for U.S. athletes to train in during the Olympics.

The Olympic spirit is being seen and felt in the 24 Hour clubs, which are festooned with banners, Team 24 athlete DMX voiceovers and Olympic apparel in the clubs' pro shops.
